hi Everyone,
Our family cookout in LEX is gettting closer...... start thinking about what wonderful dishes each of you wil bring. I'll supply the beef and some fish, plates, silverware and cups. I will also have some wine and beer. (if you want some special type of beer you may want to bring it)
- each family unit should bring two dishes and if possible, can you let me know ahead of time so we can work out a nice balance in our meal?????
- we have corn hole game and are thinking about setting up a volleyball net in the yard.
who wants to play volleyball?
also, let me know if you are NOT coming.... (i expect everyone to come)
- dan said he would start working on the fireworks.
- its also Joe's b-day so we'll have some kind of cake for him.
any other ideas???

I am thinking tht Dan and I will bring our old fashioned Home Made Ice Cream maker and crank out some home made ice cream. Suggestions on flavors? Strawberry sound good?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am thinking I would also like to bring a cool, sweet and delicious Fruit Salad...maybe some strawberries, blueberries and some other delicious summertime fruits.
I am bringing pasta salad and a fruit pizza. I attempted the fruit pizza last weekend and caused the oven to smoke. :) My hope is to troubleshoot this issue for the next attempt. If by chance, I burn the pizza again I will find another sweet, suitable snack for replacement.
