THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL FOURTH OF JULY

Thanks to everyone for a wonderful Fourth of July! I had a blast hanging out and catching up with you all and I am thankful for those who took the time to make the holiday get together. Thanks Teresa and John for all of your effort on the DECK - it looked beautiful and I know it was a ton of work to get that ready! Thank you Teresa (and Jackson) for being such a gracious hostess(host), the food was wonderful, tasty and filling! Thanks to all those who did the behind-the-scenes work on clean-up, house-prep and food planning, grocery and planning! Thanks Dan & Matt for the most excellent Fireworks display: awesome! Thanks Carol & Mark for traveling the farthest, great bakedbeans! and it was good to see Corel!! I know that its a lot of work and effort on everyones part to make these events happen, and its really not the same when we have family members absent. I cherish these times! ps- love the grill! O and one more things:; didnt the old folks kick some volleyball behind?

Matt's Paintball Tournament - PSP Chicago 2010

Matt competed in the PSP's Chicago Event this past weekend, his team Cincinnati Paintball took second place in their division! (D4 Xball) Here are some pics from the event:

YardSale Victory

Thank You Rosalie and Jaqui for all of your hard work in moving that YardSale stuff off the driveway and into other people's houses (and basements). My basement is relatively clean and clear now! Hope you both had a good time even though it was hard work. It was fun for me to have you up for the weekend, even though we didn't get out on the boat. Thanks again, you both are wonderful!

Planning for July4th family celebration

hi Everyone,
Our family cookout in LEX is gettting closer...... start thinking about what wonderful dishes each of you wil bring. I'll supply the beef and some fish, plates, silverware and cups. I will also have some wine and beer. (if you want some special type of beer you may want to bring it)
- each family unit should bring two dishes and if possible, can you let me know ahead of time so we can work out a nice balance in our meal?????
- we have corn hole game and are thinking about setting up a volleyball net in the yard.
who wants to play volleyball?
also, let me know if you are NOT coming.... (i expect everyone to come)
- dan said he would start working on the fireworks.
- its also Joe's b-day so we'll have some kind of cake for him.
any other ideas???
